Overview: This class is dedicated to the fundamentals of Tai Chi and is where we recommend beginner's start. We look at an ancient set of movements that teaches all of the essential alignments and movement principles in the most simple format possible. It is the foundation of the internal arts and it makes learning any Tai Chi form much easier.
The structure of the class is:
Warm up and opening the body exercises
Standing alignments and sinking qi practice
Simple repetitive movements to learn the internal techniques of Tai Chi in a move called Cloud Hands
Spine work through the Spine Stretch to increase qi flows
